Hi, I'm Paul Triana.
Student at Simon Fraser University, School of Interactive Arts & Technology.
I'm an MSc student and researcher in the School of Interactive Arts and Technology at SFU and at the Metacreation Lab for Creative AI. I work on generative AI for creative tasks, with a focus on AI-assisted music composition and audio neural synthesis. My research explores how modern generative models can support, augment, and reshape human creative workflows rather than replace them.
I come from computer science and engineering, and I'm interested in representation learning for musical structure, controllable and interactive music generation, human–AI interaction in creative contexts, and putting generative models to practical use in artistic work.
